At Siddiq Academy, safeguarding is taken seriously. Online tuition is delivered with clear professional boundaries, appropriate communication and a calm, respectful environment where students can learn confidently.
Our safeguarding commitments
Enhanced DBS certificate
Mohammed Siddiq holds an Enhanced DBS certificate for work with children. This is one of the measures used to support safe and professional tuition.
Professional communication
Communication remains appropriate and focused on tuition, progress and learning. Lesson arrangements are managed through agreed parent or carer channels, and private social-media messaging with students is not used.
Safe online tuition
Lessons take place online in a professional setting. Students should join from a suitable space at home, with a parent or carer nearby or contactable where possible.
Parent communication
Parents and carers are kept informed about tuition arrangements, progress and any relevant concerns.
Lesson recording
Online lessons are not routinely recorded. A lesson would only be recorded for a clear reason and with the parent or carer’s agreement in advance.
Concerns are taken seriously
Any safeguarding concern will be recorded appropriately and considered promptly. Where necessary, information may be shared with a parent or carer, the child’s school, children’s services or the police.
For parents and carers
To support a safe online tuition environment, parents/carers are asked to:
- ensure their child joins lessons from an appropriate space
- remain nearby or contactable where possible
- use agreed parent or carer communication channels
- share relevant learning, medical or safeguarding information
- raise concerns promptly if anything makes their child feel worried, uncomfortable or unsafe

Siddiq Academy is an online tutoring service and does not replace school safeguarding procedures, medical care, counselling, children’s services or emergency services.
